HB1335/SB0794
ROW BILL has been assigned to the regular House calendar
for April 9th. Session is at 5PM. Let’s fill the galleries and show how
important this issue is to the motorcyclists of Tennessee. Meet outside
the chambers at 4:45 PM and bring your friends and family!!!!
In the Senate Trans Committee the bill was rolled until next Wednesday
to get the House amendments added to the committee packets and adopted
to the Senate bill. The committee meets at 10:30AM on Wednesday, April
11th. Passage is expected with referral to the calendar committee to
schedule a vote on the floor of the Senate. Likely to be heard in the
full Senate the week of April 23. Stay Tuned!
HB1283/SB1511 “Freedom of Choice” has been scheduled for a floor vote in
the TN Senate on Monday April 9th at 5PM. COME OUT AND SUPPORT FREEDOM
OF CHOICE!!!!!!!! Show the Tennessee Senate that we believe in freedom,
let’s pack the galleries! 4:45 at the Capitol.
HB1536/SB101 “No Kids Under 12” There is still no movement on this
bill!! Thanks for the calls and e-mails to your legislators.

*HB0201/SB0550 – “Wheelie Bill” This bill passed the full House by a
vote of 77-10 and is assigned to Senate Transportation Committee for
April 11th at 10:30 AM.
HB1974 by *Maggart. (*SB1994 by *Black.) - ATV Kid’s Helmet Bill This
ATV helmet bill has passed the full Senate with a 31-0 vote. It has been
assigned to the Public Safety and Rural Roads subcommittee in the House
for Tuesday, April 10th at 4PM.
HB0481 Adds a $16 additional fee on every vehicle registered in TN. This
bill was deferred in House Transportation until April 17th and has not
moved in the Senate.
