MISSION STATEMENT

CMT/ABATE TENNESSEE
CMT/ABATE, Inc. was formed in 1992 to preserve freedom and promote safety and awareness for all Tennesseans who enjoy motorcycling. We are a political organization, incorporated as a 501(c) 4, not a “club”. Our major goals are to modify existing laws that are detrimental to motorcycle safety and enjoyment, and to enact new legislation in support of all motorcyclists who ride in Tennessee. If you are concerned about preserving personal freedom and motorcycle safety, please join us.

OUR GOALS
* Promote freedom-of-choice regarding mandatory helmet usage.
* Promote other Legislation Beneficial to all Tennessee motorcyclist and defeat detrimental legislation
* Monitor and assist with National legislation that pertains to motorcyclist.
* Promote awareness of motorcycle riders to the motoring public.
* Promote motorcycling safety through educational programs for riders and non-riders.
* Promote motorcycling safety through improvements in motorcycle design & highway design.
